  This is the perfect place for a unique fish fry - the place is quaint and cozy (not many tables, so you probably have to wait a little while), the food inventive, and the service is great. We shared an order of the onion straws - they were crisp, light, and came with a nice dipping sauce. For my side dish, I had the vermouth carrots - they were so yummy!! Will definitely visit again, and again, and again...

  Let me start this by saying I am NOT a cheap skate. I love eating out and have no problem paying for what I am getting. That being said, because there are no prices on the menu I was SHOCKED to receive my bill when I went there for lunch by myself after a recommendation from a friend. I ordered a piece of salmon and some grilled asparagus and had 1 Guinness to drink and my bill was $47!!! For ONE person for lunch at a bar, that is completely unacceptable. I am not going to lie, the food was incredible but I could have gone to a 5 star fine dining restaurant and gotten the same thing for probably half of that. The food was good but I will never go back.

  I went here with a party of four. Exceptional food, from the king crab to the exceptional ribeye. The service was top notch. Well done folks!!!!

  4th Base is one of my favorite special occasion destinations in town. With it's ultra-casual, old-school Milwaukee sports bar vibe, it may come as a surprise that the food quality is second to none. That said, you will pay for the fine-dining meal, without getting the fine-dining atmosphere. If you're okay with this, or specifically looking for this like my family was, you're in for a treat. Our waitress was so nice and attentive, the cooks were very friendly, and the food was amazing.
